A double-rod mat consists of a vertical rod and two horizontal rods welded to both sides of the vertical rod. The round steel wires are spot-welded to each other in a rectangle, whereby the horizontal twin wires clamp the vertical wires. The mats used for building fences are available in light (horizontal 2 x 6 mm and vertical 5 mm) and heavy (horizontal 2 x 8 mm and vertical 6 mm) design.

Galvanised and then powder-coated in the standard RAL-colours moss green (RAL 6005), anthracite (RAL 7016) - upon request available in other RAL colours.
 

POSTS FOR FENCE SYSTEMS MADE OF DOUBLE-ROD MATS

When you buy a fence, finding the right post for the selected rod grating fence is an important and crucial factor. The selection ranges from posts with cover strip to posts with clamps. The posts are also available as galvanised or powder-coated designs, to be encased or plugged into concrete in order to perfectly adjust the posts to your circumstances and your double-rod mats.

• Designs (made of stable rectangular tube 60 x 40 mm): Posts with cover strip / posts with plastic pedestal & counter plate / posts with U-bracket
• The respective post designs include the required mounting material for mats; dowels and screws for assembling pedestals are not included.
• Assembly types: Posts for encasing in concrete (posts approx. 500 - 600mm longer than mat height) or posts with base plate for assembling the pedestal (for dowelling).
• Types of edges: Corner posts (with double-sided assembly options for the mats) or the double-rod mats are tilted at the desired angles.
• Material designs: hot-dip galvanised, galvanised and then powder-coated in the standard RAL-colours moss green (RAL 6005), anthracite (RAL 7016), upon request available in other RAL colours.
